As the award-winning models at our dealership will show you, our favorite automaker has the people in mind when it comes to their brand. Whether it's the industry-leading safety standards of our new and used cars or the philanthropic efforts of the Honda execs, it goes without saying that we have a whole lot to be proud of here at Castle Honda. And now in the wake of Superstorm  Sandy, the pride just continues to go.

It goes without saying, but living and working near Chicago has its perks. It's the most happening town in Illinois, it's got five different professional sports teams for us to root for, and what's not to love about Primanti Bros., right? We here at Castle Honda have nothing but love for the place, but living down the road from the Windy City also has its downsides. Namely, our hair.

Folks, we can't stand a broken record any more than the next guy, and given all the award-winning Honda news we've been sending your way for the past two months now, the irony of the situation is not lost on us here at Castle Honda. Then again, can you really blame us? With all the good vibes coming our way thanks to the new and used cars at our dealership, the pride is overflowing.

Since writing about all the awards that our favorite automaker keeps picking up seems to be a recurring theme around these parts, we here at Castle Honda figured we'd keep this gravy train rolling and give you folks one more reason to love the new and used cars at our dealership. Up until now, we've had a lot to report on in terms of value and innovation, and as important as those are for anyone looking to invest in some new wheels, the fact of the matter is that you can't put a price on safety.

When we here at Castle Honda tell you that you won't find a better deal on a new or used car than the ones here in our showroom, we're not yanking your chain. Then again, we are in the business of selling cars, and we can understand why some might say they've heard it all before. So with that being said, don't take our word for it. Just the other week, we here at Castle Honda told you all about the great news about our 2013 Honda CR-V and 2013 Honda Accord models winning Best Value Awards from Kiplinger's Personal Finance. And now with the recent news from the folks over Good Houskeeping, the praise just keeps on coming for our new and used cars.

Not going to lie, folks, 2012 was awfully kind to some of our new cars here at Castle Honda. It seems like just the other day when we heard that Motor Trend nominated the 2013 Honda Accord as one of their North American Cars of the Year, not to mention the two Top Safety Pick+ awards it earned from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. But why stop there, right?

Now that we're in the thick of a new year, the obvious thing we here at Castle Honda are excited for is the unveiling of next year's new Honda models. The less obvious, yet equally exciting developments come in the form of automaker growth plans. Because depending on how much an automaker invests, that not only means new cars, but new jobs and possibilities as well. And in an economy like this, what's not to love about a company that gives back?
