Castle Honda, serving Chicago has some good news. Honda is developing a new, small SUV which they hope will win over the hard-to-please European market.
At this point the vehicle is still in the early stages of development. It's so early on, in fact, that Honda still hasn't given it a name. We do, however, know it will share its platform with the best-selling model in the U.S. - the Honda Civic.
Early images of the forthcoming SUV show a vehicle that looks smaller than both the new Honda Crosstour and Honda Pilot available at Castle Honda, serving Chicago. Like the Crosstour, which closely resemble the Honda Accord sedan. The new Honda SUV features a front fascia which clearly shares it genes with the new 2012 Honda Civic. Looking at the SUV from an angle, however, we see the silhouette starts to change dramatically starting at the rear-passenger door.
While there are currently no rear shots of the forthcoming Honda SUV available, it appears to have a gradually raked rear hatch and aggressive, protruding taillights. As for the headlamps, we could be mistaken, but they look to be of the LED variety.
