Honda CR-Z Turbo Spied

Honda is having so much luck with their CR-Z, that the Japanese auto maker is planning to offer a turbocharged engine option in late 2011 for its CR-Z hybrid coupe. This forced-induction 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine may be offered in two different versions - which includes a 200-horsepower edition for the new CR-Z Type R.

These rumors were leaked online, but could possibly come from the Tokyo hub of the company's headquarters.

2012 Honda Civic Concept

For the first time since 2006 the Honda Civic is being redesigned, and the concept for 2012 has been released through sketches online.

The drawing "conveys the sleek and aerodynamic profile of the show vehicle," says Honda. "The production version of the ninth-generation 2012 Civic based on the revealed concept will go on-sale in spring 2011. John Mendel, American Honda executive vice president of sales, will introduce the concept vehicle at a press conference."

Honda Developing New NSX

The NSX was a pivotal sportscar from the 1990's. Featured in racing video games and even hit films like Pulp Fiction, the NSX was to be a crowning achievement in Honda and luxury model Acura design / performance. Overseas, NSX was a Honda - in North America it was introduced as part of the company's Acura brand.

The Water Powered Honda

Honda's FCX Clarity is their emissions-free car, the power source is Honda's Solar Hydrogen Station. The solar-powered electrolyzer converts water into oxygen and hydrogen, and is designed for home use.

The combination produces an emissions-free ride. At the center of FCX Clarity is a fuel cell that uses  hydrogen in the tank to create the electricity for its electric motor. The fuel cell is called Honda's V Flow (for vertical flow).
